Dried fruits had a very important role to play in the old days. When freezers were not common, eating dry fruits was one important solution to keep your vitamin levels up in the cold winter months.
Today, dry fruits are a convenience and lifestyle choice. Eating fresh fruits on the sofa or at the work desk can get a bit messy and result in lots of cleaning up. With dried fruits, just pop them into your mouth and it’s done, you’ve met your vitamin quota for the day!
That’s exactly what I did. I took one, popped it into my mouth and closed my eyes.
I was in a wooden house in the forests. There was a dining table with three chairs and three bowl of dried cranberries.
I sat down on the biggest and hardest chair and tried some of the cranberries. It was too hard and dry. Plus, it was too sour!
I moved on to the softest chair and tried some of the cranberries. It was too soft and watery. Plus, it was too sweet!
Finally, I moved to the smallest chair and tried some of the cranberries. It was not too hard, not too soft. Not too dry, not too watery. Not too sour, not too sweet. It was perfect!
I looked at the box and the label reads, Global Seasons Dehydrated Cranberry.
I bought this with my own money from Mustafa, Singapore.
