Kuih Bahulu are normally a bit dry, a bit like toasted bread. How do I know? Well, in some parts of Indonesia, it is called kue bolu kering, which means dry bolu kueh. I happen to also have tried some other kueh bahulu before 🙂 I have also mixed kueh bahulu with shells.

This one, is soft, moist and not sweet. It is more like a cake and less like bahulu, except for its shape. This is nice. The honey flavour is very subtle, almost un-noticeable.
Made in Malaysia. Bought in Mugiya, Singapore.
