Cookies are not native to Hainan. So if a company were to launch a cookie in Hainan, what flavor should it be? Without a doubt, of course coconut! There’s an abundance of coconut in Hainan. But coconut alone may not appeal to the masses. Then it’s obvious. Just add the most popular cookie flavour, chocolate. And done, coconut and chocolate cookie by Kelyes.
These cookies are nice and crunchy. It’s actually more like biscuits than cookies. The chocolate is fully baked into the biscuit so it’s more prominent as a colour than taste. The coconut taste however, is prominent. It is pleasant and not too overpowering.
Can easily finish the whole box in no time.
I bought this from Hainan, China.
