In Asia Pacific, soybeans is almost as important as rice. Almost everything can be made out of soybeans, including meat. A testament of the popularity of soybeans can be witnessed by the number of soybean milk brands in supermarkets.
When I was given the responsibility to buy a soybean milk drink, I dreaded the responsibility. The satisfaction of my whole family rested on my decision! I had to unleash my inner instinct to choose the best soybean milk drink
randomly using my years of soybean milk drinking experience.
The chosen one is… drum roll… Marusan Soy Milk!
I closed my eyes and took a sip.
I was in a field filled with soybean trees. However, instead of beans growing on the trees, packets of Marusan Soy Milk drink grew on this tree. I plucked one down, open it and drank it.
Ooh… It tasted so good. The taste of natural soybeans really came right through. There was no sugar added, just that pure soybean milk taste.
I opened my eyes.
This is good. It would have been better if it was slightly sweetened and warmed.
Which is what I did. I poured some into a pot. Added a tiny bit of sugar. Warmed it up. Ooh… It was fantastic. Even with the sugar, the taste of the natural soybeans still came through.
I bought this using my own money from Don Don Donki, Singapore.
