Salted egg yolk flavour is getting crazy. It works well with savoury dishes, works sometimes for sweet dishes, but for ice cream?? I cannot imagine how this is going to taste like. It’s either going to be very good or very bad.
Before I tell you about how it tastes, I need to tell you another story. If you look at the picture of the ice cream, it is not how it looks originally. Unfortunately, I bought his on a hot day. The icre cream melted on the way back from the supermarket, which explains the really ugle shape. The originally one looks a bit lot better.

Now for the taste. It’s… err…. mm… kinda weird. The white part taste like milk powder. The yellow part, I really don’t know how to explain. It’s a bit salty, a bit custardy. The whole thing doesn’t really taste like an ice cream but it doesn’t taste like salted egg yolk either. Some interpretation of salt egg yolk that is probably more odd than just simply mixing salted egg yolk with ice cream.
